Lizzie Wandrag

Research overview: Human activities have greatly altered the composition of plant communities, leading to both species loss through extinction and species gain through the introduction of non-native species. My research uses experimental, observational and quantitative techniques to understand the causes and consequences of these alterations to plant communities, and address questions on the factors that control the distribution of plant species. I am particularly interested in the role of species interactions, such as those with mutualists, antagonists and competitors.
